LeadsUp LLC FZ ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Visage (the "App").

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide our services and improve user experience.

1.1. Data You Provide to Us

  • User Content (Photos/Images): You select images from your device to be edited in the App. Most editing features run entirely on your device, and those images are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Only images used in the Hair Editing feature are transmitted for cloud processing, as described in Section 4.
  • Face Data: Some on-device features detect the presence and position of facial features. See Section 3A (Face Data) for a complete description.
  • Customer Support Data: If you contact us via email, we collect your email address and the content of your message.

1.2. Data Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and non-personal, app-generated identifiers (e.g., an anonymous app-instance identifier used by our analytics provider), and mobile network information.
  • Usage Data: Details of your use of the App, such as features used, frequency of use, and crash logs.
  • Subscription Data: We receive transaction receipts from Apple (App Store) to validate your subscription status. We do not collect or store your credit card information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • To Provide the Service: Processing your photos using AI technologies to deliver the requested output.
  • To Improve the App: Analyzing usage trends to fix bugs and optimize performance.
  • To Manage Subscriptions: Verifying your purchase status (Free vs. Premium).
  • Legal Compliance: Enforcing our Terms of Service and complying with applicable laws.

3. Processing of Images

The App processes images in two different ways, depending on the feature you use.

A. On-device processing (default)

The following features run locally on your device, using the processing power of your phone:

  • Blemish removal and skin smoothing
  • Face reshape and sculpting
  • Virtual makeup try-on
  • Selecting and focusing on a single face when a photo contains several faces
  • Filters, presets, and object removal

For these features, your photos never leave your device. They are not uploaded to our servers, are not sent to any third party, and are not accessible to us or to our employees.

B. Cloud processing (Hair Editing only)

The Hair Editing feature (hairstyle, haircut, hair color, and volume) requires cloud AI processing. For this feature only, the image you selected is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) to our AI processing provider Kie.ai (which uses the Nano Banana image model) solely to generate the requested result. This feature edits hair only; it does not perform face detection, face analysis, or biometric identification, and no face data (as defined in Section 3A) is generated, extracted, or transmitted by this feature.

Images transmitted for Hair Editing are automatically deleted from the provider's servers after processing and are retained only for the short period necessary to generate and deliver your result (see Section 5). We do not use your images to train AI models, and we contractually require our processing provider not to use your images to train their models.

Results. In all cases, the final edited photo is returned to you and is stored only on your device, in your device's photo library or in the App. We do not keep a copy.

3A. Face Data

This section describes what face data the App collects, how it is used, whether it is shared, how long it is retained, and how you can delete it or withdraw your consent.

What face data we collect. To make features such as Face Reshape & Sculpting, Virtual Makeup Try-On, and single-face selection work, the App detects whether a face is present in the photo you selected and determines the position of facial landmarks (for example, the outline of the face, and the location of the eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, and jawline). This positional information is what we refer to as "face data".

How face data is collected. Face data is generated entirely on your device, by on-device software, from the photo you yourself selected for editing. The App does not use ARKit, the TrueDepth camera, or any depth-sensing hardware, and does not scan your face in real time.

All intended uses of face data. Face data is used for one purpose only: to apply the visual edit you requested to the correct part of the image (for example, to place virtual makeup on the lips, to reshape the jawline, or to identify which face to focus on when a photo contains multiple faces). We do not use face data:

  • to identify, recognize, verify, or authenticate any person;
  • to create a faceprint, face template, face signature, or any other biometric identifier that could be used to recognize an individual;
  • to infer age, gender, ethnicity, emotion, health, or any other characteristic;
  • for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any form of behavioral targeting;
  • to train, improve, or fine-tune AI or machine-learning models, whether ours or a third party's.

Disclosures and sharing of face data. We do not share, sell, rent, disclose, transfer, or otherwise make face data available to any third party, and we do not transmit it to our own servers. Face data never leaves your device. Because the Hair Editing feature does not generate face data, no face data is included in the images sent to Kie.ai.

To the extent any third party ever receives images or data from the App (currently, our AI processing provider Kie.ai for the Hair Editing feature only), we contractually require that third party to provide the same or equal protection for such data as is stated in this Privacy Policy, including the prohibitions on retention beyond processing, on model training, and on any use other than delivering the requested result to you.

Retention of face data. Face data exists only temporarily in your device's memory (RAM), for as long as you are actively editing a photo. It is discarded as soon as the editing session ends, and it is never written to permanent storage on your device, never backed up, and never stored on our servers or those of any third party. We retain face data for zero days, because we never receive it.

Deletion of face data and revoking consent. Because face data is transient and exists only during an editing session, you can delete it and revoke your consent to its collection and use at any time by any of the following actions:

  • Close or exit the editing screen — face data for that session is immediately discarded from memory.
  • Stop using the face-based features (Face Reshape & Sculpting, Virtual Makeup Try-On, and multi-face selection). If you do not use these features, no face data is collected at all.
  • Delete the edited photos from the App or from your device's photo library at any time.
  • Uninstall the App. Deleting Visage removes the App and all of its locally stored data, including any photos saved inside the App, from your device.

Since we never receive, transmit, or store your face data, there is no server-side copy for us to delete. If you have any question about this, or wish to make a request regarding your data, contact us at support@visageai.me and we will respond within 30 days.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with third parties only in the limited cases below. We never share face data with anyone.

A. AI Image Processing — Hair Editing only

  • Provider: Kie.ai (Nano Banana image model).
  • What is shared: the image you selected for the Hair Editing feature.
  • Purpose: generating the requested hairstyle, haircut, hair color, or volume result.
  • Retention: images are deleted automatically from the provider's servers after processing.
  • Restrictions: the provider is contractually required to provide the same or equal protection for this data as described in this Privacy Policy, is not permitted to use your images for model training, and is not permitted to use the data for any purpose other than delivering your result.
  • No face data is transmitted to this provider.

B. Analytics

  • Providers may include: Google Analytics for Firebase or similar.
  • What is shared: anonymous app-instance identifiers, device model, OS version, feature usage events, and crash logs.
  • Not shared: photos, images, or face data.

C. Subscriptions

  • Provide: Apple (App Store).
  • Purpose: processing and validating your subscription. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

We do not share your photos or face data with any advertising network, data broker, or analytics provider.

5. Data Retention

5.1. Photos processed on your device

Not applicable — these photos never reach us. Edited results are stored only on your device and remain under your control; you can delete any photo at any time, and uninstalling the App removes all photos stored within the App.

5.2. Face data

Not retained. Face data exists only in device memory during an active editing session and is discarded immediately afterwards. See Section 3A.

5.3. Photos processed for Hair Editing

Retained by our processing provider only for the time needed to generate and deliver your result, after which they are automatically deleted from the provider's servers. We do not keep our own copy.

5.4. Usage data

Anonymized analytics data is retained for as long as necessary to analyze App performance.

6. Security of Your Data

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Images are transmitted via encrypted protocols (HTTPS/TLS). However, please be aware that no electronic transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

7.1. GDPR (European Economic Area)

If you are in the EEA, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: You can request deletion of your data by contacting us at: support@visageai.me
  • Face data: you may withdraw consent to the collection and use of face data, and delete it, at any time using the methods described in Section 3A. No request to us is required, because face data never leaves your device.
  • Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.

7.2. CCPA (California Residents)

Right to Know: You may request details about the categories of personal information we collect.

  • Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of your personal information.
  • Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
  • "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information": We do not sell or share your personal information, including your photos, for monetary compensation or for cross-context behavioral advertising. The App does not use device identifiers for advertising and does not share your data with advertising or measurement partners.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where 16 is the minimum age of digital consent, such as parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information, including photos, may be transferred to—and maintained on—computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ (e.g., servers in the USA or Europe). By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
